Requests, estimates, and scope
A website request is an inquiry, not a confirmed appointment or binding estimate. Work should begin only after the objective, service method, likely scope, pricing approach, required access, and important exclusions have been communicated. Material scope changes should be clarified before continuing.
Scheduling and response expectations
Service is appointment-based. No 24/7, instant, or same-day response is guaranteed. Travel, weather, equipment, customer availability, third-party vendors, and problem complexity may affect scheduling. Proposed cancellation and rescheduling terms must be finalized before publication.
Remote, on-site, and drop-off work
The service method is selected according to the task. Customers are responsible for lawful authorization to access locations, devices, accounts, networks, and data. Remote access should use a verified session and end when the authorized work is complete. Drop-off intake, custody, pickup, and abandoned-property terms require final review.
Backups and important data
Customers should maintain current, tested backups before repair, setup, migration, cleanup, or other work that could affect data. Assistance can reduce risk but cannot guarantee preservation or recovery. Guaranteed data recovery is not offered; specialized recovery laboratories may be recommended.
Credentials and sensitive information
Passwords, one-time codes, recovery keys, payment details, Social Security numbers, and sensitive customer records should not be sent through general forms or email. When temporary access is necessary, a safer method and least-privilege approach should be used. Customers should change or revoke credentials when advised.
Third-party products and services
Hardware, software, internet service, cloud platforms, vendors, warranties, subscriptions, and manufacturer policies are controlled by third parties. Recommendations do not guarantee compatibility, availability, security, performance, continued support, or third-party outcomes.
Service boundaries
The normal scope excludes 24/7 emergency coverage, enterprise server or Cisco administration, penetration testing, digital forensics, ransomware response, guaranteed data recovery, large identity or cloud migrations, and custom software built from scratch. Licensed, regulated, warranty, or specialized work stays with the appropriate provider.
Results, warranties, and liability
Technology work involves uncertainty, dependencies, and third-party systems. Any warranty, limitation of liability, damage cap, consequential-loss exclusion, dispute process, and customer-remedy language must be drafted or reviewed by qualified legal counsel before this section is published.
